Another year is coming to a close and, so, I am revisiting my 2023 soundtrack: i.e., the songs and tracks that marked various moments of the past year.
Some moments are small, like a car journey or movies watched. Tracks 3 and 19 remind of several journeys with the kiddo; and track 6 of a Netflix series I watched with the “teen”.
Other moments are quite significant. Tracks 8 and 11 fall in this category. They are a nod to King Charle III’s coronation – and also remind me of the beautiful concert performed by the pupils of my son’s school.
On a more sombre note – because the year was also made of those moments – songs 16, 22 and 24 remind me of various untimely deaths. Moreover, track 23 marks the war in Israel-Palestine (I was under the impression that the song had originally been released by an Israeli duo, but Wikipedia tells me that I am wrong).
