Aristotle said it: we are social animals.
What we do and, even, what we think is largely influenced by those around us:
I was reminded of this fact today. I took the youngest to a chess tournament. Once he was settled, I sat down with my coffee and tablet, looking forward to catching up on reading.
Around me, people were munching away. All sorts of snacks. And I, who normally do not eat between breakfast and lunch, found myself feeling peckish.
Cue: a quick run to the shops.
One hour later, there I was. Siting down with my coffee and tablet, looking forward to catching up on reading. But, this time, I, too, had a snack 😉

Only 108 Calories. Only 10-to-the-40 permutations on chess moves (says Wolfram Alpha).
Who is feeling snookered now?
